THOMAS HAROLD VIGIL

 

 

Thomas Harold Vigil, lifetime

resident of Cokedale, Colorado

passed away at Mt. San Rafael

Hospital on July 28, 2012 at the

age of 70.

He was born on May 9, 1942 in

Cokedale, Colorado to Maxine

(Alvarez) and Cipriano Vigil.

Harold proudly served his

country in the United States

Army during the Viet Nam

Conflict.

He worked in construction,

helping with various projects including

the Air Force Academy

and the Trinidad Dam.

He owned and operated Vigil

Shoe Repair for several years.

Harold liked to play cards,

enjoyed storytelling and

fishing.

His greatest joy was spending

time with his grandchildren.

Preceding him in death are

parents Maxine and Cipriano

Vigil and brother Cipriano Vigil

Jr.

Survivors are daughters

Summer (Tony) Borja,

Trinidad, Mindy (Craig)

Bonnot, Loveland, Co., grandchildren,

Aspin, Aedin, and

Aiyana, brother John Robert

“Turk” (Diana) Vigil, Upton,

Wyoming, sister Dolores

Weber, Cokedale, the mother

of his children, Dorothy Vigil,

Cokedale, numerous nieces,

nephews, other relatives and

many friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday,

from 2:00PM-7:00Pm at the

Comi Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be Thursday,

August 2, 2012 at 10:00Am at

Holy Trinity Church.

Entombment will follow at the

Good Shepherd Mausoleum,

Trinidad Catholic Cemetery

with graveside services

conducted by Ft. Carson Honor

Guard.

Active Pallbearers are Anthony

Borja, Craig Bonnot, Floyd E.

Duran Jr. Hale Redding, Larry

Cobo and John Gilmore.

The family respectfully
